Dandylions are difficult to take pictures of because the yellow on yellow provides little distinguishable contrast. The best way to photograph them, I've learned, is to get on their level instead of from above.

I love the reflection of the trees and the shadow of this guy on the car. 

The leading lines and use of aperture help to frame this photo. I'm proud of the depth of field that you can see even with a small f-stop.

I hope that this little fella eventually spread his wings!

A friend and I visited Canada during springtime and someone had left this flower on the side of a building. I enjoy the contrast of colors.

So this might be a generic 'bee on flower' picture, but as a photographer who enjoys macro, this is a must-have staple. This picture was taken at the Real Jardín Botanico en Madrid, Spain.

The sun, sand, and shells in Valencia, Spain provided this macro photo. I like the fact that it's a photo that you have to really look at to understand.

I think that getting down in the mud with flowers and bugs can prove to make great photos.
